Sandpits Road is a small residential community in Shirley, Surrey. We hold a tabletop sale annually on the third Sunday in May raising money for Delmelza Hospice. Plans for the Sandrock redevelopment, which were rejected in 2018 have been resubmitted, please see the featured post. Edited by Drew

SANDPITS ROAD TABLE SALE 2018
For the fifth year running Sandpits Road households will be holding a table top sale in their front gardens.
This year’s sale takes place on Sunday 20th May 2018, from 10.30am to 2.30pm, and each stall is asked to make a donation to Demelza Hospice Care for Children who will also have a stall at the event.
As with previous years there will be plants, nearly new items (e.g. books, DVDs), crafted goods and home baked goodies for sale!

Sandpits Tabletop Sale 2017 - £577.55
Early reports are that we raised over £500 today for Demelza Hospice today at our #tabletopsale
So pleased, thank you to everyone who sold, bought or supported ... see you next year!! (20 May 2018!)
UPDATE: we've just been informed that we raised £577.55. Well done Sandpits, we have raised £1700 in the past three years!!

Sandpits Road Tabletop Sale 2017

The sale will be advertised to residents in local roads and at the local library and shops. The event will be supported by Spring Park Residents’ Association who will publicise it in their monthly newsletter. The Sandrock have also agreed that we can use their car park.
