Sandpits Road Tabletop Sale 2017

For the fourth year running Sandpits Road households will be holding a table top sale in their front gardens.

This year’s sale takes place on Sunday 21st May 2017, from 10am to 2pm, and each stall is asked to make a donation to Demelza Hospice Care for Children who will also have a stall at the event.

As with previous years there will be plants, nearly new items (e.g. books, DVDs), crafted goods and home baked bread and cakes for sale!

The sale will be advertised to residents in local roads and at the local library and shops. The event will be supported by Spring Park Residents’ Association who will publicise it in their monthly newsletter. The Sandrock have also agreed that we can use their car park.

Please let you friends and family know about the event, follow us on twitter @sandpitsroad or on Facebook.

Sandpits Tabletop Sale 2015 - £391.80

We thought you’d like to know that we had an amazing success with the Sandpits Road Table Top Sale on Sunday 17 May 2015.

For the second year running Sandpits Road residents rallied together for a community Table Top Sale and to raise funds for charity. This year we are delighted to say that we raised (with a last minute contribution) an amazing £406.80 for Demelza Hospice Care for Children. The event was well supported by residents and locals alike, thanks are due to our presence in the SPAN newsletter, and the tireless volunteers who leafleted the local area, put up signage and posters in their windows & gardens. The Shirley Friends of Demelza also had a stall and everyone was so thrilled with the event that we are already talking about next year! And we couldn’t have been more blessed with the weather, despite the ominous forecast earlier in the week!!
Attached is a certificate presented to residents with the initial amount (Drew’s work colleagues polished off the remainder of the cupcakes he baked the next day and a further £15 was raised!!) and some pictures from the day
Here’s to the third Sunday in May 2016!
Thanks for all your support
